It was just too low for my longish legs, so not so comfortable for me, position-wise, if that makes sense. I decided to work out a deal with JF Coastal on it, so someone else who wanted one and was better suited to it size-wise could get some use out of it. Can't wait to see it on your black bike, JF! RE: Daytona Cafe Seat - chync_imp - 07-06-2016 I had a similar problem with my low seat. I solved it by installing adjustable foot pegs and lowered them to give my legs more room. I have Ohlins fully adjustable shocks installed and I also increased the rear ride height of the shocks a little. That made up some of the difference in ground clearance with the lower foot pegs. I used to scrape the stock foot peg feelers all the time but I don't anymore with the improved clearance. Daytona Cafe Seat - memphismike_imp - 07-10-2016 That is a great looking seat...pipes and fairing. Love that! Are those engine guards suitable as highway pegs? Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk RE: Daytona Cafe Seat - Lord Popgun - 07-11-2016 CBryder, those are Moriwaki sliders. I have a set on my CB and they are not suitable for highway pegs. RE: Daytona Cafe Seat - CBryder_imp - 07-11-2016 (07-11-2016, 11:45 AM)Lord Popgun_imp Wrote: CBryder, those are Moriwaki sliders. RE: Daytona Cafe Seat - kennyw - 07-12-2016 I have crash bars and highway pegs. Something tells me it wouldn't work well with the look of the bike. Occasionally, I'll put my feet up there, heels on the slider, back of my foot resting on the engine cases when I need to stretch out a bit. I'm not really comfortable in that position, so I don't do it for long, but it does allow you to move your legs around while riding, and still have your feet supported on something. There's not a whole lot of room like a real highway peg, so I'm guessing that if the road you were on wasn't very smooth, you might have a hard time keeping your feet in place on that short perch, but otherwise it works pretty well.
