Correct. Uses the cbow mount. RE: Soft luggage options advantages disadvantages - dBuster_imp - 03-10-2014 HikerToo, did you get those Hepco Becker bags installed? I am trying to find a distributor state side for them. Where Might I ask did you get yours? Anyone know of any other bags like those Hepco Becker Street Soft Sport Bag Set??? I like how the hepco becker bags lock on to the bike. Also wish I could find a set of their paniers or hard bags for our bike or something similar... RE: Soft luggage options advantages disadvantages - the Ferret - 03-10-2014 Dbuster I saw some Givi hard bags at Sporttour today they were called 22's and look like they would be a good fit for our bike, also a pair called 21s. My understanding SW mototech makes the side brackets although there might be an issue if you want a top trunk too. Give Glen at Sporttour a call and he can probably explain what is available. 866-761-0936. They are a large Givi distributor mail order plus a walk in business here in cinti. Tell him the ones Mickey was looking at. RE: Soft luggage options advantages disadvantages - HikerToo_imp - 03-10-2014 Will be putting them on any week now. I ended up finding a close-out deal on the soft side bags here, not sure if they have any left. http://www.ktm-parts.com/search.html?q=hepco&x=7&y=5 And bought the CMounts here, which seems to be the authorized dealer for Hepco [url=http://www.motomachines.com/Street-Soft-Bag-Set--21-to-23-liter-bags_p_224.html]http://www.motomachines.com/Street-Soft-Bag-Set--21-to-23-liter-bags_p_224.html Re: Soft luggage options advantages disadvantages - dBuster_imp - 03-10-2014 Ferret, I found the givi 22's I believe.. http://www.giviusa.com/givi-products/cases/monokey-cases/22-liter-cruiser-side-cases-detail Might just have to give them a call. That price isn't half bad. Just they had more images... HikerToo, I found the bags for sub $200 on that first link but I struggled to find the cmounts... Will have to keep looking. Okay found the cmounts. Looks like a set will run about $500 for brackets and bags. Sound about right? I am looking forward to your work on mounting! I plan on some road trips this year for the Legion Riders and want some luggage options that won't break the bank so I am interested in your opinion. They weren't too large but they weren't too small either. Slightly larger than the 21s which are more rounded and look good on Bonnevilles and W650s. Yep, I split the order, about $200 for bags on KTM ( and I had 20% off for black Friday deal), and $246 for C mount on Moto. I also bought he rear bag with wheel and handle on sale but not sure I'll ever use it. Wonder how much the mounting brackets would run and do they relocate the turn signals also? Those are the $249 questions... RE: Soft luggage options advantages disadvantages - HikerToo_imp - 03-30-2014 Anyone finding Tank bags that fit our CB very well? My older Ninja one fits OK but uses 4 straps with metal clips on the end that go around the tanks bottom edge, kijnda works, but seems like magnet style are the way to go now. I saw this small ( 8"x15"4.5") but am thinking the magnets would not folder over the edge of our tank like it needs to... http://www.joerocket.com/catalog/index.cfm/251/393/Luggage/Hammerhead_Tank_Bag_ or this http://www.tbags.com/tank-n-tail-bag.html |
