RE: Acewell Speedometer - arse-onist_imp - 05-22-2019 I'll try it out and will update. RE: Acewell Speedometer - arse-onist_imp - 05-25-2019 OK so moving forward from the speedometer gauge. I checked some YouTube guides and managed to find the tyre circumference number. For those of you who are interested, the number is between 1850-1900. You have to play around with that number. Now, I'm playing around with the fuel gauge meter. If only I have an ohmmeter with me. RE: Acewell Speedometer - Lord Popgun - 05-25-2019 I don’t think Max listed it, so here is the resistance of the fuel sensor: 8-12ohms Full, and 213-219ohms Empty. If that helps you any. RE: Acewell Speedometer - arse-onist_imp - 06-22-2019 Question. Anybody know the size of the bolts for the front disc brakes? The tiny magnet isn't cutting it when I'm going over 110kmph as it keeps jumping. http://www.acewell.co.uk/Acewell%20Accessories%20and%20Sensors/Magnetic%20Bolts/index.htm Sorry for the noob question.
RE: Acewell Speedometer - max - 06-22-2019 does the fuel gauge work now and if so what setting did you use? I think there was an issue with the wiring so I wanna see if the current sender works with the fuel gauge. Fingers crossed! RE: Acewell Speedometer - arse-onist_imp - 07-01-2019 Welp! Managed to get everything in check. Now everything works as intended. The fuel gauge issue was because the shop that I sent to for the initial installation kinda misread it. I had to get a second opinion from another shop to get it right. According to him, there were only 1 wire connected to the meter instead of 2. ![]() Anyways, here are some images. (I'm still not good at this) RE: Acewell Speedometer - max - 07-01-2019 Thanks for the photo's, seems you have a full tank and the grey/black wire is back in action, it must be confusing without a diagram but you got it done anyway, thanks for the update and best wishes. RE: Acewell Speedometer - Cormanus - 07-01-2019 Well done arson-ist. There's no way to link from Google photos so the pictures display on the forum. For that you'll need Imgur or Postimage or Photobucket. |
