Thanks for your input, kvdv.

FYI, I'm 5'11", use the stock Honda seat and have recently installed the 2" ROX risers so that I can easily ride in my preferred straight/perpendicular position.

Love the Road Comet 2. Looks great and actually works well with the standard screen. I installed mine before the first 600 mile service. Have 9,700 miles on it now. I don't think you would be disappointed.

Getting pretty excited out here in the desert!
Got this email this morning from Uncle Sam's Postal Service:

"USPS expects to deliver your package by Tuesday, February 15, 2022."

Road Comet is headed my way!
What a great Valentine!

Good tip, GO. Not too late guys to get out there and get that girl something to distract her from your latest self-indulgence.

ROFL Her initials must not be C.B.

RE: Road Comet Fairing - Haggard Rider_imp - 02-13-2022

Rather than go for the Comet (and the associated time delay and the extra shipping/duty/tax costs to get it to the UK), I went for a Puig bikini cowl (self-painted).

Looks much the same and, I imagine, has the same wind deflection 'characteristics' as the Comet and any bikini/cowl.

At motorway/highway speeds....
Yes, more wind at the throat/shoulder level.
Yes, more noise in the helmet
Yes, a bit more buffeting than without it

But below 70mph, the above 'negatives' are not really there so a nice addition for riding the back roads. Looks dang fine too.

And truth be told, above 85mph, you're concentrating on hanging on too much any way.

RE: Road Comet Fairing - Tev62 - 02-13-2022

I got similar results from a "Puig Mini". The wind noise on the helmet was a poor trade-off for high speed of chest relief. It was off within 24hrs. Yours suits the bike well though.
