I can see how you "fixed" the shift lever, but what solution did you find / apply to the rear brake lever ? If you just stretched it forward, it may have changed how the brake responds, no ?

Brake lever is original I found I can simply "heel" it works fine

As far as leg distance someone mentioned ----remember that was 50 years and a lot of beers ago.....I was more flexible and had hair back then and would ride anything..today I wanna be comfy and not worry about being cool !

Maybe it is my eyes (or the connection to the brain), but is the left side rider footpeg setback relative to the right footpeg? More work for you?
