RE: 2020 Rocket 3 R And GT First Ride ... - Bheezy27403_imp - 12-14-2019 Yeah, I can't say that would be a practical bike but that's not what it's about. The people that own them swear by them. I would not ever (well maybe) own one but I sure as heck would like to put one through it's paces! Mine had the original ray gun mufflers and was more boxy. Funny I sold it in 1972? to my family doctor, who is still a friend and riding buddy of mine, for $675 lol (I paid $750 for it so I didn't do too bad I thought). Today it would probably fetch $12K My buddy "Doc Ward" on a trip we took last fall to south eastern Ohio, trying to figure out why his new Beemer wouldn't start. (key fob was in his right saddlebag after removing rain gear lol)
RE: 2020 Rocket 3 R And GT First Ride ... - LongRanger_imp - 12-14-2019 Tell Doc Ward that the battery in those key fobs is good for maybe two years, and when it dies, you're SOL. I keep a spare in my jacket just in case. RE: 2020 Rocket 3 R And GT First Ride ... - the Ferret - 12-14-2019 LOl I will tell him. |
