RE: The Undecider's Other Motorcycle Madness - Ack-CB11_imp - 04-02-2020 Wow theUD! Awesome group of bikes. past and present. ACK RE: The Undecider's Other Motorcycle Madness - the Ferret - 04-03-2020 ahhh single and living the good life, spending money like there's no tomorrow. You've been thru a lifetime of motorcycles for most folks in a few short years. Enjoy it while you can. RE: The Undecider's Other Motorcycle Madness - pdedse - 04-03-2020 Cool story of bike progression. I went through a crazy-for-me 2 year period in which I went throught 4 bikes before coming back to the CB1100. Typically, I like to hang on to cars / mc for as long as I possibly can if I like them at all. I'm [url=https://powersports.honda.com/street/adventure/crf250l]predicting one of these in your future.

Yes , kids are far more expensive than bikes but bikes do not give you grandchildren. I didn't want to have to throw a bunch of money at it fixing the suspension and getting it to make more power. Plus, they are as heavy as my old 650. The Rally would have been around $8000 all said and done. Spending another $1000 to get the 450 was a no-brainer. The 450 is a terrible highway/distance dual sport. That is where my Super Sherpa comes in handy. It'll cruise 65 all day and gets 70 mpg. I have a little windscreen and a tank bag so I can take it on longer rides. I think it might be one of the best motorcycle purchases I have made. I paid $350 for it and spent another $700-800 getting it registered, legal, and sound for the road. It is slowly becoming my mini adventure bike. RE: The Undecider's Other Motorcycle Madness - Cobalt23_imp - 04-04-2020 I am no really interested in an Adv bike....Hmmmm RE: The Undecider's Other Motorcycle Madness - rboe - 04-04-2020 The 650L is a lot heavier than the Rally - I have a 650L (since 2010, just turned 6000 miles!). But it is not nearly as top heavy as the 650L. But I think it is too heavy for a 250. A buddy has a 250 Sherpa - he really likes it. Although he prefers the DR650. I think you need a job far from a motorcycle dealership.
