I don't think it was shot on Angeles Crest Highway - too much traffic to close down. Lots of other local canyon roads with less traffic and better scenery. RE: 1100 rebel - GoldOxide_imp - 11-24-2020 Curious indeed, but not unexpected. This has been rumored for months. It has a modified version of the Africa Twin mill and the bowling ball reliable transmission. With less weight than average similar class beasts, it might gather some meaningful attention. Hmmm, I like the looks. Should go like heck out of the gate ... [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tOkz5WcnZo] Too bad it is too low for me. RE: 1100 rebel - Gone in 60 - 11-24-2020 Nice to see Honda take a new direction in cruisers. I loved my VTX, but after that, all their cruisers went the route of the Fury. Even if I had wanted one, like a Stateline, it would have been too long to fit in my garage. 1100 rebel - tod.branko_imp - 11-24-2020 I'm totally game for this bike. Had a chance to spend some time with the Africa Twin and I thought that engine was a blast. Don't know how they tuned it for the Rebel, but I'm sure it's going to go like stink. Don't care much about DCT but I don't mind it either Scout Bobber watch you back! '14 CB1100 STD 5 speed RE: 1100 rebel - pekingduck - 11-24-2020 There's something I like about this version. Why minimalize the lighting and show silly angles? Brighten it up, show it off...I don't understand marketing sometimes. RE: 1100 rebel - Wisedrum - 11-24-2020 I can describe the looks of the new Rebel with one word: ugly. Cruiser and choppers are not my cup of tea anymore. I had to buy and ride two of them to find it out, though the VT1100 Shadow was okay, the California wasn't, but it looked good. If a motorbike is blackend too much, I see it as a disadvantage. No charme. RE: 1100 rebel - Cormanus - 11-24-2020 (11-24-2020, 03:18 PM)pekingduck_imp Wrote: There's something I like about this version. I would be inclined to consign it to the pekingduck hall of fame, even though I admire the Photoshop skill that inseminated, gestated and gave birth to it. RE: 1100 rebel - bioman_imp - 11-25-2020 ![]() I found it very interesting that they seem to market it as a women-friendly motorcycle. You don't see this a lot, and I think there is a very large open market if only they can tap into it. RE: 1100 rebel - Tev62 - 11-25-2020 With the Honda touring accessories. |
