RE: 2022 Triumph Bonneville Lineup - VLJ_imp - 03-03-2021 GO, the T120 is roomier than the CB1100. It sits up straighter and has more legroom. Definitely less bending at the knee. If you don't fit on the Triumph, you ought to be even less comfortable on the Honda. The Triumph I could ride for about 40 minutes, the CB safely up to 75 minutes before stopping. In contrast, I can go on the Africa Twin until the tank is nearly dry. I'll test your endurance in spring, when I fill up mine and we both go until one of the tanks is almost dry ![]() ...and after that we'll do neglected Ural
RE: 2022 Triumph Bonneville Lineup - VLJ_imp - 03-03-2021 GO, you're 7'8" or something like that, right? Yeah, the Africa Twin is always going to be a much better fit for you Manute Bols. RE: 2022 Triumph Bonneville Lineup - Cormanus - 03-03-2021 You blokes are odd. I can go on any old bike until the tank is full. RE: 2022 Triumph Bonneville Lineup - Obleo - 03-04-2021 I purchased a new 2020 Triumph Bonniville Speedmaster this past September, mainly for ergonomic reasons . It fits my old bones the way my cb didn’t. However I miss the Japanese engineering of the CB. Too many differences to go into here. If I am not mistaken these new 2022 Bonnevilles are actually 2021 models. Because Triumph didn’t come out with 2021 s RE: 2022 Triumph Bonneville Lineup - Tev62 - 03-04-2021 (03-03-2021, 04:50 AM)VLJ_imp Wrote: It's not a subject that comes up as often here as it does at MCD, but the one thing that somewhat detracts from the T120's curb appeal is the presence of those very obvious seams at the bottom of the tank. If that tank was as sculpted and seamless as the 17 EX's, the T120 would be a perfect liquid-cooled retro design, top to bottom, front to back. RE: 2022 Triumph Bonneville Lineup - VLJ_imp - 03-05-2021 Tev62, do those new wheels still require tubes? RE: 2022 Triumph Bonneville Lineup - Obleo - 03-05-2021 Not to horn in but, yes tubes on the speedmaster. Also Avon chrome cobras , bias ply on front radial on rear, which I thought was a no no. |
