On a serious note; I'm assuming you have ridden both so which one do you prefer and why?

I definitely prefer the Trail. Even if you were using it for street use only its superior in every way. More comfortable ergos, better suspension. Better rear brake. Way better storage options, and you can start it with the kicker for cool points!

That passport looks just like the c70 my wife bought before buying this new cub. She always wanted a cub of some kind but eventually decided to just go for the new one. We aren't greattat wrenching after all.

The problem I see with low-capacity motorcycles is that cars are going faster every year on the streets and they don't respect small 2-wheel vehicles.
But what's really scaring, are car drivers distracted by cell phones and bumping into the back of whoever is standing at the traffic light.

I think its just a question of what roads you travel. You stay off major high flow highways and interstates and you'd be surprised how slow people drive. Around here the kind of driving that used to infuriate me on my normal bikes actually works out to be a nice cruising speed for these small bores. 45 or 50 is a very easy relaxed cruising speed. We even pull away from cars at red lights a lot of times.

If you're out somewhere where there are on and off ramps though.....yea you're in danger. But that's not what these are for. They're for back roads and creative navigation, especially the trail 125 which would rather take a dirt shortcut.

Might be because the cagers are still lookin' at their mobile devices.

Y'all:

Watch yer rear end and be prepared for those coming up fast behind you in stopped traffic.

I’ve mentioned before, I think, that a couple of jurisdictions in Australia have introduced cameras designed to detect mobile phone use while driving. The fines came into effect two months ago in my home state and have already collected $18 million to help pay for roads and schools and hospitals and national parks and other stuff. It’s luck they’ll help reduce the incidence of texting while driving.

And here’s a scary image from one of the cameras.
