RE: a new pony in the stable - redbirds_imp - 05-10-2023 Very nice choice and one we in the US will never get. Honda almost seems disinterested in US sales, few choices and little promotion. RE: a new pony in the stable - Charlie Bravo_imp - 05-11-2023 That's a beauticious road! RE: a new pony in the stable - misterprofessionality - 05-11-2023 holy smokes, these are already on sale? i didn't know. RE: a new pony in the stable - Django - 05-13-2023 Hi Alprider, wünsche dir viel Spaß mir der neuen CL500. Macht bestimmt Spaß! Looks like the US might see it, https://www.motorcycle.com/bikes/new-model-preview/the-honda-cl500-is-coming-to-the-us-with-the-adv160-and-a-new-grom-44584324 RE: a new pony in the stable - the Ferret - 05-17-2023 Interesting. Not a bike I would buy, but certainly a better option aesthetically and ergo wise than the 500 Rebel imo. RE: a new pony in the stable - Gone in 60 - 05-17-2023 Yeah... not a bike I'd buy, but I am not a fan of the Rebel's styling, and if I were to choose a 500, it would be the CL over the Rebel in a heartbeat. I look forward to seeing one eventually. All the Honda Rebels are too small/low for me. If forced to buy a Rebel, I'd just as well go back to the CB1100 for a bit less aches 'n' pain. RE: a new pony in the stable - Gone in 60 - 05-17-2023 Only reason I wouldn't consider one, and passed on the CB500X is that all I've read and everyone I spoke with said it just isn't happy at our freeway speeds. I sold the CB300R to buy the replacement bike, and wasn't going to go from "can't keep up" to "doesn't really want to keep up" |
