Need to tear the engine down every 40K miles or so to clean the slingers, but think of all the money saved on filters! That ride is like desert Tommy. (yummy!) Also, like a small bore scooter or lawnmower: No oil filters! RE: Oil & Filter Change Habits - 1973cb750 - 06-20-2023 i wish someone made a filter housing for a cartridge filter like the cb750s had with the finned cover

Our CB is recommended every other oil change as is the Africa Twin and I'm sure a lot of other Honda bikes too.Gotta see some more pictures of that machine Happy to oblige mvk24, just finished up...I hasten to add, it is a replica. Tev, really cool. Haven’t seen such a replica in ages. Could you please tell us more about your 356 ? who made it ? just bought or home-assembly? GFR chassis or metal, etc Or can one find it all on the manuf’s website ? Popular on the old Yamahas. I must say I hate the idea that one stone could go right through the filter housing, cut a gash, and leaking oil ends up on my rear tyre. It’s not extremely likely, but a more protective filter housing would be my choice too. |
