RE: Some new additions to the garage. - The Gecko_imp - 09-09-2023 I am certainly not a fan of the most furious super-sports, but I also have a hard time to imagine how such R1200C - as pretty as she is - will ride with 60 horses and over 550 pounds. Like to know if your dad finds it easy to ride ?? (09-08-2023, 09:40 PM)GoldOxide_imp Wrote:(09-08-2023, 09:15 AM)DutchRutter_imp Wrote: Wow, I never knew that. RE: Some new additions to the garage. - GoldOxide_imp - 09-09-2023 Thanks Gecko. The pipe and final shaft drive look really good too. You don't see them too often. RE: Some new additions to the garage. - DutchRutter - 09-10-2023 They are a pretty rare sight on the road around here too. I found it has a decent mid range pull but it does feel slow at the top end. My dad seemed to feel that the seating position and height are good even if it's a little wide at the hips. He also mentioned that it kind of runs out of steam around 75mph. That could be due to some of the neglected maintenance we'll be working through tho. Im going over to my parent's place today to look at a fluid leak under the clutch resivour (Probably just an overtight cap) I'll try and get a startup video of it. That video Gecko linked is pretty accurate. It also gets a good bit of sideways torque to the sides when reving in place. Probably common on all boxer engine setups. I had an R1100RT for a while and it did that. |
