Motor shuts down at 9000 indicated which is 8500 When I had mine flashed I added 500RPM's on top so it would kick in at indicated 9500RPM's

mine stutters for a bit at 112 then it smooths out

This past Saturday I reached the red line in first gear. The bike seems to drop out of gear and revs drop as in shutting off, only that the engine light in the instrument cluster did not light up. I then shift to second and reached red line again but I had to slow down before the Rev limiter could kick in. In neither gear did I reach 112 mph.

I've bumped up against the rev limiter a few times and can't really recall the exact details of how the bike reacted (it happened pretty quickly). I do recall instantly knowing that I had revved the engine as fast as the engineers at Honda wanted me to have it spinning, LOL. I believe that I simply up-shifted to continue forward progress.
