RE: Speedbleeders - quail_imp - 05-17-2016 Perfect! For those of you that read the thread post backwards (Newest post first, like I do) this is the meat of the thread. So the answer is... the SB8125 (short) / SB8125L (long) are the Speedbleeder part numbers that the Goodridge catalog says fits the CB1100 and 12cb96vfr said the SB8125L fits and works, and is what he used. Amazon $13.30 free shipping for a pair. RE: Speedbleeders - lola_imp - 05-17-2016 (05-17-2016, 10:20 AM)quail_imp Wrote: Perfect! RE: Speedbleeders - venturer434_imp - 10-14-2017 Ok the following speedbleeders were physically installed and the respective fluids were replaced successfully on the 2014 CB1100: Front Brakes - SB8125L (Qty 2 - Front Two Calipers) Clutch Slave Cylinder - SB8125L (Qty 1 - One Slave Cylinder) RE: Speedbleeders - Houtman_imp - 10-14-2017 You did not replace the rear brake fluid/bleeder ? RE: Speedbleeders - venturer434_imp - 10-26-2018 Ok, I was finally able to get to the rear brakes /caliper and the following speedbleeder was physically installed and the respective fluids was replaced successfully on the 2014 CB1100: Rear Brakes - SB8125L (Qty 1 - Rear Caliper) Note that the rear fluid reservoir mounting clamp has to be unsecured to remove the reservoir cap and refill with fresh brake fluid. To get to the mounting clamp you have to remove the plastic tool box . |
