I don't see anything obvious. It is presented as a CB1100 replacement: this article: [url=https://www.visordown.com/news/new-bikes/honda-hawk-looks-set-swoop-cb1100-replacement]Honda Hawk looks set to swoop in as CB1100 replacement. Just rumours so far. It now appears to be more than a rumour: "Honda has confirmed it WILL be resurrecting the Hawk nameplate for a new 1100cc naked that will be unveiled at the 2022 Osaka Motorcycle Show next month" [url=https://www.visordown.com/news/new-bikes/honda-hawk-11-neo-cafe-racer-premiere-2022-osaka-motor-show]https://www.visordown.com/news/new-bikes/honda-hawk-11-neo-cafe-racer-premiere-2022-osaka-motor-show RE: CB1000 replacement. - GoldOxide_imp - 02-26-2022 Honda is crankin' 'em out. RE: CB1000 replacement. - misterprofessionality - 02-27-2022 I think if they made a CB1100 style vehicle that still had a cable throttle, still handled like our CB, and had the Africa Twin plant in it.....I would be down to try it. If it's as good as it sounds, I might even say welcoming Hawk owners to our forum as an extension of our realm would be a good idea to inject new life into the community with the discontinuation of our bike behind us now. RE: CB1000 replacement. - Rexburgtom_imp - 03-06-2022 Ah, The Hawk looks like a submarine. The CB is of 1970's vintage, let it go if there is no market for it, and build bikes that look like transformers for the kids! |
