RE: LED turn signals - 12milesout - 11-14-2020 I installed the Motogadget m-blaze pin turn signals on mine, and they did the fast-flash until I installed the Posh relay. The wiring on them is really delicate, so i didn't feel like trial-and-error'ing with soldering in resistors. The relay was ~$100, IIRC, but it's a simple swap. Would you let us know if the fronts still function as running lights when they aren't turn signals? I'm 99% certain that they do, but will check tonight. I think that's what I have, maybe about the size of a dime? Is the relay a direct plug in? I made small bezels to bolt the lights to the rear grab bars and to bolt them to the stock locations on the headlight bracket. Peking: the front lights do stay on as running lights. RE: LED turn signals - pekingduck - 11-14-2020
the front lights do stay on as running lights.
That's good to know. So even by using a different LED-specific flasher, or resistors in-line, you would lose the running light feature. That makes the Posh units worth the expense. COGNITO MOTO makes some absolutely gorgeous parts. I'll send you a PM. |
