You don't need the spacers...I took them off mine!

Couldnt get mine to fit with out them you have the larger signals it appears

As far as I know, the stems / mounts are the same. My bike came with the smaller signals originally.

The inner part of the stem is bigger than the hole so i gave up and just installed the spaces o well
