You blokes are lucky. Because we have HISS, we have to buy the blank from Honda (AU$45) then go to a locksmith and have it cut—they can do it from the existing key—then go back to the dealer and have them code the HISS, although I'm sure I once saw a Youtube video on how to do the last bit yourself. But, without the proximity gear in the plastic key head, there's no starting a CB with HISS.

I do still have one key, carefully protected.
I will avoid the dealer and get a copy from a locksmith.

Some insurers cover lost keys. It's worth asking...

Any key store can do this. It's especially practiced if you go to the same store where the first key was bought.
