If you're close to Chaparral you're close to where I grew up and where my son lives now. We usually go to Chaparral when I'm there just to ogle all the gear and bikes.
Watch out for Papa Weeley when you're out on the roads, he's a loose canon.
The CB1100 does almost operate on its own, which is great when underway, but keep an eye on 'er; what she wants to do under 2 mph is lay down and take a nap.

The shock inserts are 2" retro-reflective tape; the DOT red and white conspicuity tape you see everywhere. Since I took the side reflectors off with the stock license plate bracket I wanted something red and reflective to replace them, so it's both decorative and functional.

The first instinct is to vomit, then to hang it up, man, this bike is too much for me, what was I thinking!! Then, what would my son think? He's 24, living away from home going to school, also a rider. Since our relationship nowadays relies on texting, sharing links and pics, I took the pic for him. It was only later that I thought I could risk the humiliation of posting it for this forum, since I've kind of grown to trust the people here.
I'm beyond pretending I'm all that. It is what it is and I might as well just get on with it.

I suspect all of have dropped a bike if we have been riding long. Your ground conditions were not good, gravel various surface heights. I strongly recommend not giving up!

Greg, I have dropped 3 bikes. A 73 TX 650 Yamaha, a 84 VF1100S Sabre Honda, and a 2010 BMW R1200R ...the worst part? All 3 times, my wife was on the back. Lol
