I've found the CB annoyingly difficult to fill without slopping from Day1. Fire-hose pressure from the pumps doesn't help, but the almost complete lack of a "neck" in the tank only aggravates it. If I'm doing a day ride planning multiple fills I bring a dedicated gas cleanup rag.

What a great idea. You know I don't overfill but I do occasionally get little drops that fly back up out of the neck or a drop that comes out of the hose after I'm sure its done draining. A rag in the tank bag would come on handy.

Those little paper towels they have at the windshield washing stations work equally as well and you don't have a gassy rag stinking up the inside of your bag...

Back here you be surprised at how many stations are out of those little paper towels. Besides I won't use paper towels on paint or plastic (windshield or face shield)., only on glass.

Ditto. The paper they provide at gas pumps might as well be ScotchBrite pads. IF they have any out to begin with.
