Cormanus. I am just surprised, as sissy bars were extremely popular on the original CB of any engine size- and the owners of these bikes generally are old enough to have been owners of those bikes way back when- you would think trends would persist.

And yes, although my wife has gone on a couple rides with no support, she says she holds on firmly despite my deliberately riding really mellow while she is on. In fact she claims her arms hurt.

How true! ROFL

I do however like your design and look forward to seeing how it turns out. At that point, I wouldn't be surprised if members start asking where they get one. Dodgy

anxious to see how it comes out.

I'm interested but not to the point of getting something expensive just yet. There's several other things I'd like to do to the bike first. However, this is the first bike my wife has even wanted to ride on back, so at some point I'll be looking at either this or a top box with rack. 95% of my riding is solo, however, so right not I'm fine.

I have a Corbin seat with the backrest slot. When my wife goes with me, it literally takes two minutes to put the backrest on. Two minutes to take it back off, and the bike looks sweet again.

Same here. I like the setup. Except that I can't stencil HONDA across the back :-(

I'm interested! I even envisioned something this tall before:

Looking forward to your finished product. My GF rides her own bike. She won't ride pillion on mine, which is fine with me!

It is going to be pretty tall. Should allow not only a backrest for her, but a place to strap gear to.

Fab work on it will start this week. Once that is done, it gets sent to be chromed.

Since I am making it the same as the Kijima bar, it is using the 4 factory tie down bolts to mount- which means I can swap it in and out in a minute or 2. I don't use the factory garnish.

I'd like to see how it turns out and price point. I have a luggage rack but this would've been an option.

RE: Any interest in sissy bars? - PowerDubs_imp - 09-25-2016

Lets just say on the price, it falls into the category of 'if you have to ask'...

Just like the K&H seats, it is made custom to order, by hand.

As far as how it turns out, the guy can build anything you ask. Many may not like the style I have chosen.
