I have leaned down to listen closely more than once, and it has never come from the engine fins... always the exhaust tubing and cans! -fritz RE: Engine Fins no longer... - Ben70_imp - 08-11-2017 Thanks for this thread! Mine never ticked or pinged but I got it with a full Yosh exhaust. That explains it, I thought it was my hearing. Ben RE: Engine Fins no longer... - Lord Popgun - 08-16-2017 I'm changing my answer. I listened yesterday and mine did some popping and tinging. Wasn't very loud. It was the muffler and muffler shield doing it though, the engine and all was quiet. RE: Engine Fins no longer... - Nortoon_imp - 08-17-2017 The fuel tank on my 2017 EX quietly sighs when I park her in the garage. It's like she is sad the ride is over. Probably more to do with the tank shrinking after being topped up with cold gasoline and the engine no longer warming it however. RE: Engine Fins no longer... - SpamJ_imp - 08-17-2017 I'm guessing it's more a emission related fuel tank purge, but I like your imagery better.
