Theoretically, my mechanic should have had one for two weeks already... Okay, I'll drop by again later... You'd be better off putting the money into the gas tank than into a stupid exhaust...Even with the stock exhaust, it is already too loud—or rather, not permitted in certain Tyrolean valleys.
Personally, the only thing I'd order is the headlight cowl. ...It elegantly conceals the modern display and adds a distinctive retro touch.
So the oil warning light came on while the engine was still running? A new engine usually gives off a smell after the first few kilometers......The oil problem itself should be resolved by now; that’s precisely why they are only being delivered now.....I hope it's nothing serious with one of the machines.
I’ll probably take it for a test ride, but I don’t particularly like that high-revving sports engine character, and the fuel consumption is too high for me as well.

Really nice bike! Best retro available since they stopped making the CB11. My preferences are for silver rims and engine, but otherwise, really pretty.
Funny that the MSRP is, I think, less than the CB1100 DLX was TWELVE YEARS AGO! With more modern tech. Dollar must really be weak.

One of these finally showed up at a local dealer. Went down today and I have to say that it looks even better in person. Very comfortable seating position and ergos fit me perfectly. If they make me a deal, I'll probably be picking one up tomorrow.

OK, here is my newest CB. Rode it 32 miles home in rush hour, freeway traffic and 107 degrees. Thanks to the HOV lane, I was able to move along pretty quickly, but was a little paranoid all the way. Drivers around here tend to get a little nuts when traffic is hot and slow.
No problems with the bike. Was surprised to see a cable clutch, rather than a hydraulic unit. You can feel upshifts though the cable, which I found a little weird. Otherwise, no surprises. When I gave it the beans, it really did get up and go. Left it in "rain" mode while I get used to the extra horses. Oh yeah, you can really tell that it weighs about 80 lbs less than the CB1100. Very nimble.
