With little to do besides trying to keep warm I've been reading through a few older posts and came upon this one which is very well written with nice images to boot. I enjoyed it thanks for posting! Only thing I can think could the structure be a school bus stop to keep kids out of the wind and rain? I see a lot of people use IBC's out by the road for their garbage bins. I enjoyed it thanks for posting! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Happening upon the town of Cass just as the trains were getting up steam is a great memory. I envy your easy access to some of the best motorcycling roads. I think bus stop is the best guess also. They look overbuilt but I bet they are holding up fine under a foot of snow and ice now. The IBC thing is interesting. So, does a truck come and pick up the IBC tote and dump it? That would be a pretty innovative way to reuse totes. But I would be afraid of the pallet breaking if it is really being picked up and dumped. Also, the totes do have value; around here I think they're over $100 if clean, so it's not like they're free. But maybe there is an abundance in WV from nearby factories. |
