Knowing the demographics of this (and the previous) forum, I go through the map from time to time to organize it.

I have added groups by continent.

Step 1, type your city and state in the search box and select the correct result.

Step 2, click "ADD to MAP"

Step 3, click the edit button

Step 4, add username to name field and anything you feel important to the description field. Then, click save.

Step 5, verify it added to the correct continent and shows on the map correctly.

You’re losing me at “Step 2, click ‘ADD to MAP’”

Using an iphone.

Clicking the link briefly opens google drive before shunting me to google maps.

I can see the other users pins and can open the map legend.

I can type in my city and get directions or whatever with the normal google maps interface, but there is no “add to map” option.

I would include screenshots but am new to the forum and haven’t yet figured out how to get the file upload box to work or otherwise include pics.

JRD, you may well need to use a computer or a tablet so you can access Google MyMaps which is slightly different to Google Maps. I'm not sure whether it can be done from a phone.
