Plug inspection, for the 2014 CB1100, is every 4000 miles (6400 kms).
I am running well past the recommended replacement interval. My economy is consistent. My acceleration (that we all love) is consistent. No backfire. Generally no unexpected weirdness. Just typical Honda goodness.

I replace spark plugs and the air cleaner every 25,000 miles. I inspect them when I pull them out to replace them lol.
Like Oxide, I watch for symptoms..hard starting, gas mileage going down, not pulling cleanly when accelerating. If no issues I go to 25k

Changing sparks plugs is the same as changing light bulbs , it needs a village but before that you have to establish a committee to assess the need for the change.

Are you sure these are for the CB, not for your twin boxer aircraft (one side only)?

BTW, is it already installed and flying ??

Yes, PB. I picked it up in Idaho about a month ago. After about 17 hrs. of break-in flying, everything is back to normal.
To keep with the spirit of the thread, the airplane spark plugs get inspected at least once annually and generally need replacement after 700 hrs. of usage.

RE Air cleaner: On this Honda model, I swear my air filter never gets dirty. Either this is luck, or some really intelligent Honda turbulence engineering.
RE: Changing spark plugs - the Ferret - 01-02-2019
My first one was a little dirty and had 1 bug on the inside when I checked it at 25 thou. I probably could have cleaned it and used it another 25K but I had a new one on hand so I stuck it in. I'm at 43K now so I will have a look again sometime this summer when I hit 50K

Well, I have 40,000 miles on mine, running fine but going to take a ride to Utah in Sep so thought it might be time for new plugs.
