i have a couple pair of the Diamond Gussett Jeans for around town and short rides. They are kevlar lined and also made in the USA. They are very comfortable once it gets hot.

Thought, but never committed. Since that first thought, the recipe has improved in the past 15 years. I am still monitoring.
