RE: My Old CB Meets My New CB - NorthGeorgiaRider_imp - 05-30-2017 I traded my 98' Nighthawk CB750 when I got my 13 CB, I wish I had taken a pic of both of them together! RE: My Old CB Meets My New CB - cb100077_imp - 06-05-2017 Love those new black CB's RE: My Old CB Meets My New CB - Cormanus - 06-05-2017 cb100077, the black CB1100s were imported to the US in 2014. From some reports there may be some new ones hiding in warehouses; otherwise you'll have to settle for second hand. So far as I know, the new 2017 is available only in red. RE: My Old CB Meets My New CB - use2b_imp - 06-05-2017 would love to have your super hawk but only had a CB160 at 14-16YO now each day i have to decide if i want to relive my life as a teen , a US Marine or an old guy who loves the machine's that brought me the most enjoyment in life , so i ride them all RE: My Old CB Meets My New CB - suhawk305 - 06-05-2017 Cb100077, Cormanus is right. I just took possession of my (2nd) black CB1100 standard ordered from the warehouse just a few days ago. As far as I know, I have not cleared the warehouse of its stock, yet anyways ![]() If you want to get a new one, you can ask the Honda dealer if he can order one. Or search eBay, Cycle Trader(?) to see if dealers are advertising floor models. At least a week ago, there is an $1000 rebate for the 2014 CB1100s. Also, with a little patience, you can find a nice used CB1100, many with low mileage. My local Honda Dealer has an used 2014 standard on the floor now. During my teen year in the 1960s, all I had were Honda CAs (95 and 77). They were not as desirable as the CBs, but they were cheaper to buy used. I bought the Super Hawk about 1974 and I still ride it, though not very far! We should get together and ride the old CBs until we find something like a Super 90 to pick on! RE: My Old CB Meets My New CB - cb100077_imp - 06-05-2017 Thank you for the note guys, I am surprised Honda still has new leftovers available, I figured they would all be at dealers. Is there a list of older models Honda corporate has? Is there a list of older models Honda corporate has? Check Honda's website : http://powersports.honda.com/ If they still have leftover models in the warehouses, they'll continue to advertise them on the site. For example, if you look up the CB1100 they show both the '14 and '17 models. They're still advertising the leftover 800 Interceptors, even though they haven't made any since 2015. RE: My Old CB Meets My New CB - Cormanus - 06-05-2017 Looks like they might have a few 2010 and 2012 ST1300s hanging around too. |
