I really love the idea of a griso. Even imagined myself buying one in addition to the CB once it's paid off. Do you reckon it's different enough to justify that thanks. I really want a big torquey twin to offset my inline 4

Oh yes. It's a high revving twin, not like a cruiser V twin. I think of it as a sport cruiser or roadster. It's sporty but not a sport bike.

Do find a good suspension guy to set up the suspension for you. It's fully adjustable; but as they typically come from the dealer - pretty crappy for most folks.

grisoghetto.com is a very good forum for Griso folks.

I consider it my hooligan bike. Big Grin Not as flickable as the CB, but the motor has this wonderful throb to it with tremendous acceleration - until you get used to it the power is very sneaky. I went from 75mph to 100 in just a few seconds with no hint from the motor that she was straining, no arm stretching; the darn thing just gets the job done with no fuss. I still find my self unintentionally speeding and have to back to off. Very sneaky.

Oddly enough, several Griso owners have bought CB1100's. Darnedest thing. Smile
