Nice ride!

I rode a bit of it on Street View.
Then changed to Satellite View and followed it around.
A lot of nice curves through green country.
The most challenging road I ride is the [url=https://www.google.ca/maps/@45.0644074,-76.6544325,3a,75y,169.01h,76.81t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s5bao5Z9JEpFWlXHskmGk9g!2e0!7i13312!8i6656]South Lavant Road around Robertson Lake.

Ride by the lake in Street View and slide back out to Satellite View. It is basically a wide path through the bush.

What a beautiful road to ride past the lake. Can't get over how many bodies of water are in that area. Most of our are rivers or man-made lakes from damming up rivers.

Ontario and Quebec are mostly lakes and forests. The glaciers during the ice ages carved out basins in the Canadian Shield and the melting ice filled them in. Every spring they get replenished with the snow melt. It is said that Canada contains 1/5 of the world's fresh water.

When was a teenager my dad took me fishing in Algonquin Park which is about 3 1/2 hours northwest of Ottawa. Algonquin Park has over 1,500 lakes.

Being born and raised in the US south, the clear northern lakes and rivers are a source of wonderment to me. It's warmer down here but the water is...muddy.
