Good looking bikes and lovely country, WK5. What's with the white CB1100 in the ute? Do you have 2?

Wisedrum - At the end of July we will be at the Caravan Club Site at Killin Stirling for three weeks - if you are in the area we could meet up.

tinboatcat - we wanted to tour the Outer Isles but the ferry company wanted commercial rates for our outfit - very expensive.

Stichill - we have all the campgrounds booked. Usually a 2-3 week stay, explore the area by bike, then move to the next campsite. Picture should show our tow vehicle.

Frulk - first week in September we are at Kinlochewe in the Highland region. The other side of the country from the A9 where you'll be travelling back to Edinburgh.

Cormanus - we'll be camped at Glencoe during August - call in for a beer if you're passing.

John in the UK

This is a nice idea and I will keep it in mind.
Don't know, where my trip will lead me, that starts at the end of July from Kiel in Germany to a transfer to UK. Wether the Eurotunnel or Calais Dover or some other place to go to England. First I must take a look at a map where the Killin Stirling area is in Sottland, maybe it will be on my route, which is no special one but develops every single day of the trip.

Cormanus - just have the one bike - there were no black CBs available in my area back in 2013 - had the tank and silver side covers sprayed black last year.

RE: Scottish Tour - Cormanus - 07-18-2017

Black is good. I finally got around to having my silver side covers sprayed this year. The bike looks much better.

I'm going to be a bit tied up with family in Scotland, but I'll try to get away and see you for a beer.

A map reading stop for my wife and a smoke break for me on a cruise around the Loch Rannoch area today.

RE: Scottish Tour - the Ferret - 07-24-2017

Looking for Nessie?

RE: Scottish Tour - WK57ABF_imp - 07-24-2017

Ferret - "Nessie" lives in Loch Ness about 80 miles from here at Loch Rannock - we'll be cruising past there in a couple of to have a look at him.

In 1933 there was a Nessie sighting by a motorcyclist. Smile

My apologies for the lack of 'ride out' pictures - rain all last week - it has rained all this week and the forecast is for rain into next week - moving to Glencoe on Sunday and hoping for a glimpse of the sun and some motorcycling.
