This screen has been on the bike for 1500km, not much I know. But you can say summer has allready started here. I'll keep an eye on it and see.
Is there 2 oil lights when you turn the egnition on? One for temp?

I like your screen name. Have you read "The Art of Racing in the Rain"? In any event, my GT was fine with the screens for casual driving and although it ran hotter on my temp gauge it didn't overheat. But when the car was pushed with a lot of full throttle acceleration on the track the radiator with the screen on couldn't carry away enough heat and my car would red line. The 2005 GT came standard with a very coarse screen and it was eliminated by Ford in the 2006 model year to improve cooling. Here in AZ the summer temps are often above 110 degrees and cooling is a big issue for all vehicles. To get an idea of how much a screen resists airflow as speed increases, hold a framed window screen in your hand by the edge (assuming its rigid enough) out of your car window at 60 mph. If air flowed freely through it, it wouldn't have any (or much) wind resistance. But you'll find it has tremendous wind resistance as speed increases. At very low speed air passes through it but as speed increases air wants to flow around it. At very high speeds a screen is almost a solid barrier. This is why jet engine intakes are totally exposed and the engines are often damaged by pebbles sucked off of runways. A screen can't be used at all.
