I haven't heard from Chip Beck in a long time. Hope all is well with him.
While washing the bike yesterday after hitting some mud, I neglected to rinse out all of the soapy water that got trapped between the windscreen and the fairing body. It dried into nice white stains. So today I took off the fairing to clean that area.
I had a brainstorm (usually a bad idea) and cut a strip of rubber matting and glued it to the top inside part of the fairing's headlight openning to block that annoying light. The rubber "light shield" fits snug atop the headlight.
Thought I would share with all you Road Comet owners. Sorry for the crappy pictures.
