My knee dragging days are far behind me. I have not even scrapped the foot pegs on my EX. But that is not why I bought this expensive retro motorcycle anyway.

I do appreciate the skill some riders have developed. This guy on a [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cILWQIjXTd0]Goldwing makes me ashamed that I whine about Miss Piggy feeling heavy. Confused

This might be a little off topic but whilst reading the thread this is what I thought of. A little while ago I happened across a guy on a canary yellow 1800 Goldwing riding the nuts off it. On youtube. I gather he was a bit of a legend in Goldwing circles but if you have 10 minutes to kill go have a look. You would not believe how talented some people are and how capable bikes are nowadays! Well done getting your knee down BTW, i never managed it and my days of trying are well over.

Yellow Wolf down at Deals Gap used to film sport bike riders making runs on the Dragon on his GL1800. The guy was a phenomenal rider on that road.

once you wear out a few sets of knee pucks you will find yourself trying not to drag!

Or a slide on a greasy exit ramp. I was on my Yamaha 350 R5 and fortunately was able to pop up before hitting the curb and high side into the entrance ramp.

Second time not so lucky. Slide out on a tight curve exiting a shopping mall. All my buddies were at the nearby donut shop and heard the scrape. No serious damage to anything except my pride.

Speaking of Goldwings and dragging knees, this test of the new one done buy the French guys from High Side is really funny. To test the comfort, they go on a track with the pilot dragging his knee and the passenger eating a fast food lunch at the same time:

Lol that's trust

Does the passenger not realize that eating fast food is bad for your health ?

I laughed when I saw the phone book sized Owners Manual. Huh

So 2 hours from my home in Grand Bend Ontario there is a track that does motorcycle lapping from 4-sundown for $80 in advance, $100 at the door. The motorplex used to be an airport so they have several configurations they run. Tonight it was "Reverse Technical". What a blast this track was. There is one corner where I not only drag knee I can get my whole lower leg flat and gliding along the ground, I think it's my favourite new thing to do. I think I like Cayuga more overall, but Grand Bend has my favourite corner. I think I may be biased by familiarity, I've run Cayuga many more times...
