RE: This bike just gets better! - the Ferret - 09-10-2019 that's also my favorite zone for riding this bike.....45-60 mph, on 2 lane country curvy roads RE: This bike just gets better! - Ryanson_imp - 09-12-2019 Sounds like a perfect speed for a relaxing cruise. Must be heaven! haha RE: This bike just gets better! - Cormanus - 09-12-2019 Welcome to the forum, Ryanson. RE: This bike just gets better! - peterbaron - 09-12-2019 Welcome, Ryanson. RE: This bike just gets better! - Willmarth_imp - 09-13-2019 DCT Wing ![]() CB1000R ![]() CB1100 ![]() Had to throw in my other bikes for perspective. My 1100 has about 4,000 miles on her and she just keeps getting better and better. I switched over to Honda full synthetic at 3,500 miles and it may be my imagination but she seems to run better still. That's an Arrow Pro full exhaust sans baffle and she really screams above 6,000 RPM. The irony is that though my other bikes are faster I always end up riding faster on the 1100. There is nothing like rolling on the throttle to wide open in third gear and just surfing the envelope of sound to the ton. It's addictive

Is that with stock gearing? RE: This bike just gets better! - Willmarth_imp - 09-13-2019 Yes the ton is just over 7,000 RPM with stock gearing. RE: This bike just gets better! - Wisedrum - 09-14-2019 Seldom to never rev the CB so high. Why? Wisedrum |
