I would consider myself young, I am 36 and I love this bike. I can only have one bike and I know the older I get the less I will like the sport bike look. I test rode one for my birthday and loved it! Just waiting to see if there is a 2014 coming out!

Anyway, I walked in and it was wall to wall with atv's and side by sides. Not a single motorcycle in the place and the owner told me he never wanted to see one. Evidently, he was one of the few that was able to sell Honda atv's and nothing else.

I doubt he will be a Honda dealer for much longer. Big Grin

Who knows, but this time of year ATV's are their bread and butter, but that changes in the spring. At least that's what happens around here. That's why so many other company's sell them as well, (Kawasaki, Yamaha, etc.).

Been a while since I've visited or looked at anything online (until last Saturday I'd been too busy to ride since Oct) but when I saw the '14 EX model with updates that I would make I was impressed. Even in all white I think it looks incredible and would consider adding one to my '13. However, seeing this one from the Tokyo show has me floored:

That bike fits my look and style almost perfectly, I would buy it without hesitation. I won't give up my '13 but that is just phenomenal.

that's what is so cool about motorcycles, It's about personal choice. For me, I can't stand black wheels on cars or bikes. Like the spokes, hate the black wheels and the blacked out look.

What do you mean with "larger"? Higher or wider?

For comparison, here is a pic of "my" oil cooler (German CB 1100 model):

I believe they are the same. 9 of the bumps on the sides on the one in the posted pic. For comparison, here's mine.

RE: NEW 2014: CB 1100, CB 1100 EX - EGAlvarez_imp - 01-07-2014

I just spoke with a very nice, tight lipped, man at Honda in Torrence. I had inquired about the availability and MSRP of the '14 EX in the US. His response was "the EX is currently only a Japanese and European market bike; therefore no pricing is available. We appreciate your call and this inquiry will be sent to management. If enough interest is shown in NA through these types of calls, it could possibly encourage Honda to bring them stateside. The regular CB has exceeded sales expectations so this may help as well."
