don't do that Frankie.
Depending on how tall you are you can straddle the bike and push it forward. Be ready to use the front brake to stop the momentum once it's down.
If you are a munchkin like me, I stand to the left side of the bike, put the side stand down, push with both hands on the handlebars until it comes off the centerstand, stop it with the front brake and then sit it n the side stand.

Little known factoid: this is how Evel got his start. Yep, he got some big ideas from launching the bike up and off of the center stand when he was young. Next thing you know he's trying to leap the Snake River Canyon. It is a long-held belief that if the Skycycle X-2 actually had a center stand and Knievel had used the center stand launch technique (that Richard so eloquently described) to initiate the launch of the Skycycle X-2 itself, victory would have been his that day. But you didn't hear that from me, I preferred the look of the X-2 sans center stand myself.
Question: don't most people use the passenger grab bar behind the rear shock to grab hold of when righting the CB1100 on the center stand?

I use the grab rail. Comes right up and I’m a lightweight.

I never thought of that!! I wonder if it would help me with the ST1300. Cause that thing I have problems with. And I have to get help to get it down. I don’t know how Ferret did it. I’m afraid of just holding the handlebars and pushing it off.

That might have been back when there was still a CB1100 Forum Secret Decoder Ring to be waved around. But no longer* as the evil darkness (not be be confused with the Evel darkness) known as the Admin editing console has strucketh!
*Only until LP chooses to reverse the Admin's evil actions as this game grows old quickly, lol.
