RE: CB1100 mods - uscgmac_imp - 12-22-2016 That kit costs 5200.00 American dollars. No thank you. I wonder why? Shipping? Maybe some of the tuners in America can make the retro kit for CB1100?

I wonder why? Shipping? Mostly because it's primarily a pile of low volume, hand made, custom parts. RE: CB1100 mods - Timpo_imp - 12-24-2016 This CB1100 was spotted at Euro Racing booth at EICMA motorcycle show. ![]() ![]()
RE: CB1100 mods - EarsOnWheels_imp - 12-24-2016 Yesss. Where'd all the stuff in the middle go? Battery? The technology has come a long way and some batteries are very small. Small batteries are popular among cafe racer builders for clean look. Here are some small batteries. http://www.dimecitycycles.com/6-amp-hour-120-cca-antigravity-4-cell-battery.html https://shop.antigravitybatteries.com/ RE: CB1100 mods - ClassicVW_imp - 12-25-2016 Yes, the Samurider kit is expensive. But, it's top quality like everything I've bought from his company. One picky thing---the 'modern' gas cap looks out of place? I don't recall any Honda from the 70s using that. RE: CB1100 mods - LongRanger_imp - 12-25-2016 I noticed the gas cap too. As much as I like the kit, for my money I'd rather have a nice '69 or '70 KO, although I did once have a '70 and it wasn't very satisfying to ride. The CB1100 is a quantum leap forward.
