RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - Inhouse Bob - 03-31-2020 In these difficult times, keep your loved ones safe... [url=https://postimages.org/]
RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - Gone in 60 - 03-31-2020 Yeah, did you hurt your wife's car? With all of my free time, I've been lining up projects I haven't had time for. Yesterday, I gave my wife's CRV a lot of needed TLC. I clayed the paint, gave it a ceramic coating, and the very last thing to do was put some protectant on the roof top antenna. I did so, and slipped on the step ladder, ripping off the rear wiper assembly on my way down. Brilliant. In any case, glad you and the bike are mostly unscathed! Nice protection for your RLET, Bob! I was going to cut off the fingers of some exam gloves and cover mine with them. RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - The A-man - 03-31-2020 I'd prefer to think of the incident like this: my helmet and shoulder added some extra contouring to my wife's passenger door, breaking up the monotony of that straight flat surface! RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - peterbaron - 03-31-2020 Just thinking loud....if my CB's side-stand should have ONE RLET installed, for an extra protection, just in case situation... Wha'd ya guys tinkin..???

RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - Cormanus - 03-31-2020 Excellent initiative Inhouse Bob. Do I recognize the ‘patient’? A-Man, I’m glad you’re OK and sorry for your mishap. You are not alone. http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2491&pid=258905#pid258905 After consultation with the forum, I did the same thing. http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2491&pid=259124#pid259124 RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - The A-man - 03-31-2020 Dang, and I thought I was going to be the first to have ever conquered the challenge of successfully rescuing a precious RLET from a damaged lever! You are / were!! The lever on my bike wasn't damaged... I almost typed "my lever wasn't damaged" RE: Rubber Lever End Thingies - Lord Popgun - 03-31-2020 I had a garage drop when I first got my bike. My lever wasn’t damaged either.
