hi guys here I am in fact I do not know English well and I use google translator, I'm sorry if at times I have expressed myself badly but I just wanted to say that perhaps this bike was built at the level of quotas thinking about its average user who seems to me that Japanese or markets such as China consequently on a stature different from the western one, nothing bad indeed, they are corporate choices and 'clear but' that being 1.82 I find myself a bit tight, lowering and moving forward the platforms can be a solution but then I should also change the brake and gear levers because they would remain too high or am I wrong?
on the character of the engine, on the other hand, it is a personal thing for those who like twin-cylinder engines that you feel alive as I can hardly like 4-cylinders which are more linear. to each his bike and always smile

Nope, nothing wrong in the translation. It's coming out the way he means to say it. In fact, he's doubling down on it. Namely, that Honda built the CB1100 for the Japanese (true) and Chinese (absurd) markets.

Unless the company is run by a group of children or racists people that they don't want theirs invested money to be able to sell in world-wide market. On the other hand this bike size is no where near a small bike for "Japanese and Chinese" that you believe. I think it's big, fat and heavy to be honest. And I'm Asian, 183cm and I dont think it's a small bike. But I love the way it is, the foot pegs are a bit higher compared to other but It's like that for a reason.
Also inline 4 not always linear... And also parallel twin not always alive... I have Thruxton 900, T100, Multistrada1200, Hypermotard939 and S1000RR. Don't try to blame everything on the bike. It is what it is, and it's always like this before you bought it. Of couse we can get bored of our bike sometimes, it's ok, just adapt, adjust, fix or sell it and move on.
Of course you can always express your impression, but the way you say it I don't see it can lead to anything constructive. I only see judgements and typical stereotypes.
You can just ask a solution to your cramped legs. Or how to tune-up the engine. And I believe members here are more than welcome to help you out even that questions are already asked like a thousand times.

It was easy to make the bike more comfortable for me with a higher Corbin seat and the Vario adjustable foot pegs. I love the very smooth running engine.

But this is an international forum, and we choose our words correctly because people with bad intentions think everyone has bad intentions, and they will judge us and publicly shame us.
It is sad where this thread went, and I here publicly request the members not to go into public shaming, but if you find something you think is inappropriate, talk directly to the poster or report it to the admins. People have dignity, and nobody should drag anyone through the mud because their point of view or way of talking is different

Other than a couple of "stupidests", I don't see that anything in this thread rises even close to my definition of shaming. The language barrier is a problem for the OP since his translations are coming off in an absolutist sort of way - "The bike IS boring..." as opposed to "I FIND the bike boring...". I don't know about others, but when folks talk in this manner, it makes me defensive of my own subjective opinions. However, he also did add in the original post "What do you think?" and, in my opinion, that opens the discussion up to rebuttal.
"Absolutist" may not be the right word, but I don't have a better one and this is my native language. We all speak that way at times, though; "Sushi is terrible" instead of "I don't like sushi", "Harleys stink" instead of....oh wait, that's not a great example (LOL), "The CB1100 is too small" instead of "I don't fit well on the CB1100". Most of us, I think, try to avoid these more absolute statements on this forum because we understand that the reader doesn't always "hear" the typed words the way that we hear them when we type them and that they are typing their opinion instead of facts.
This is definitely off-topic, but it might be a good time to remind ourselves that we should be just a little more careful about what we type on the screen.
Oh...and the bike fits me just fine, has enough power for me, runs like a top, and I will own my CB1100 until I can no longer ride a motorcycle. I did replace the seat, though.
