Took Hank for only his second ride, ever.

He did real well. Had no problem wearing the goggles either. Poor Rudi wasn't happy watching from the window, though.

I hope you don’t mind me jumping on this thread. I am about to embark on a new side car project so a huge thank you for sharing your experience. I own a 2010 cb1100 and I have just picked up an older globe sidecar that I’m hoping I Can engineer to fit: why? Like you it’s all about the fury companions, I always wanted to have an outfit sorted for my last dog but he passed earlier this year and I never got the opportunity. New puppy on the way so the timing is right. I’ll keep you updated along the way, photos of my bike, chair and new puppy Charlie below.

No problem jumping in on this thread. It would be great to see another CB1100 Sidecar rig! Sorry to hear about your last dog. My only regret with Rudi is that I didn't do this a lot sooner. Riding with a canine friend can be a really wonderful experience. Hope your new pup Charlie takes to it. Looking forward to your future posts!

The CB would seem to be a good candidate for the Watsonian GP sidecar as seen here. I think it would look even better with the Prescott though as seen on the Triumph and RE. The Prescott's were originally built out of war surplus Mosquito Fighter-Bomber fuel tanks bought by the firm after the war.
Anyone on here have that red CB1100EX in red?

I have a Watsonian Squire, mounted it to a Triumph simply because of the British heritage. The CB1100 is a fantastic tug, dual discs on the front, smooth power and rock solid reliability. Definitely change the suspension due to the load and ride.
Actually had a neighbor walking their dog shake a fist at us ( 2 monkeys in the tub) one day, all in good fun.

Wonder what happened to ShaneFreeman (post # 124). He hasn't been on the forum since the day after he posted above. Wonder how his project is going. Heck his pup would be almost 7 months old now.
