Sold it in 04'. Bought a 97' in 17' to play with. Don't like it as much as I like the 13' CB1100 but it does bring back some good memories. RE: What bikes have you bought twice? - Sparky80_imp - 12-26-2021 Bored at home so reviving an old thread.... Bikes I've bought twice or more: Yamaha R6... 2000, 2003, 2004 Yamaha FJR1300... 2006 and now my 2016. I've flipped a bunch of bike and have bought many Ninja 300's, CBR's and other sportbikes that sell well. The FJR is my keeper for life. Sold my '06 with 60k miles on it and my '16 is a baby with only 12k miles so far. RE: What bikes have you bought twice? - Scoot_imp - 12-26-2021 2- Honda VF750 Magna 1994-2003 In my opinion, still dollar for dollar, and pound for pound the best lightweight cruiser. Comfortable, fast, and handled well. 3- Honda Valkyrie 1500 1996-2003 Smooth, comfortable, and bulletproof engine. Cruiser of the decade in the 90's. Comfortable, fast, and handled well. I've always been partial to the Honda Magnas, especially the early-mid '80s models and the V65 class. Yummy. RE: What bikes have you bought twice? - jedd_imp - 12-27-2021 This here is my 2010 Husaberg FE390, a 400cc thumper that's fuel injected, with the engine rotated 70 deg. off vertical to lay more horizontal, 6 speed wide ratio trans, and w/ 2.2 gals of fuel, it weighs 253 lbs wet and gets 55-75 mpg,. I bought it in 2012, and currently has 9k mostly offroad miles on it. ![]() Having owned and ridden this bike HARD for a decade now through some of the most remote and difficult tracks out west, and seeing 1st hand how incredibly reliable and solid this bike is, I found and bought its big brother , this 2011 FE570s, a 570cc thumper weighing 255 lbs. wet, w/ same 6 speed wide ratio trans and FI. It currently has 1500 50/50 dual sport miles on it. ![]() This 2011 570s is factory 50 states legal, so it's got a legal road bike VIN number, and in CA... this bike is highly sought after.
