Good job, Gumby. You saved me having to go out in the rain and take it all apart and photograph it. Thanks for that!
One note. Tracing the wire from the O2 sensor (which is found on the top of the muffler, near where it joins the header) back to the connector was tricky until I noticed that the two wires that converge within the silicone shroud beneath the right side cover and might possibly be confused with one another have different textures on their insulation. The correct one on mine had a sort of snakeskinish look, while the other was smooth. Yours might be different.

Thanks Bob! I was inspired by your results to go ahead and just do it!
On my 2014 Canadian, the O2 Sensor Lead insulation was black and weave-textured too. The other lead in the same clear shroud had a white P/N tag on it that may have read: 32102-MGC-N300 which I think, is ABS related.

That's where I got mine. The company in England just has an "eBay store" and takes credit cards, so you are really just dealing with them. Got mine in three days by paying $5 or so more. Excellent service. They have a separate web site. You'll just need to get the company name off eBay or from someone who didn't through away the packaging.

I contacted him at this e-mail address when my Eliminator Plug got lost in transit and he sent a replacement very quickly.

Since this ancient thread was revived, I will point out that my new 2017 EX feels like it is running quite lean at low rpms. Not an actual sputter as others reported with earlier bikes, but it doesn’t “fuel” cleanly or with linearity. I don’t know if this is a result of the retarded cam timing on cylinders 1 and 2, or if it just running lean. Either way it’s not ideal.

I don't like modifications like this, but the O2 sensor eliminator fixed it for me. I rode it for a few thousand miles with the eliminator installed and then removed it. Sure enough, the hesitation came back and so the eliminator got reinstalled. My ST1300 had the same issue and it drove me crazy.
