Let me know what you thnk. http://sfomoto.blogspot.com/2014/05/cb1100-video.html Thanks. That you're at the western end of Route 52 or that you're heading west? Secondly, I think I'd really like a DLX seat. It looks so much better than it's predecessor. Thirdly, according to some reviews the CB1100 is a gentleman's bike. A gentleman is a person who can play the banjo but doesn't. RE: Let's see your CB1100 out on the road! - the Ferret - 05-06-2014 Cormanus, yes that is direction of travel. Here I am heading west on St Rt 52. How scenic it is could be debated. When you have seen truly scenic, this doesn't hardly compare. I guess if you are from the city, it could be considered quite scenic. I love the looks of the seat, and it sits a little higher and feels thicker. Can't say about comfort because stock seats don't bother me much. I rode my 13 for 9 hours at a time only stopping for gas. After 4 or 5 hours they all feel hard lol. It is a gentleman's bike and I try not to let it down. Over 1000 miles now on my 14. Lovin it! well, love everything but that stupid left handlebar switch, Thinking of buying one off a 2013 and installing it. Then the bike would be near perfection for me. Gas mileage was up to 53 mpg on my fill up yesterday. RE: Let's see your CB1100 out on the road! - Tyke57nz_imp - 05-07-2014 (05-06-2014, 10:32 AM)Cormanus_imp Wrote: Great pictures, Ferret. Thanks. Looks lovely country. I guess the Europeans that colonised the Antipodes ran short of superlatives to describe or name the country they were travelling through. Paradise is also a rural locality in the Otago region of the South Island of New Zealand. It lies on the eastern side of the Dart River at the head of Lake Wakatipu, close to the settlement of Glenorchy. Awesome country for camping, tramping, gold fossicking The locality was used as a location during filming of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, where it represented Parth Galen and parts of Lothlórien, specifically the area which the Fellowship first enters. It is also being used for filming of The Hobbit trilogy, though what scenes the location will be used for are unknown. The locality also serves as the setting for much of the BBC miniseries Top of the Lake, although filming took place in the nearby town of Glenorchy. Mr Ferret will appreciate the mountain views I am sure. Let's see your CB1100 out on the road! - Cormanus - 05-07-2014 I've heard Top of the Lake is an excellent series, with a Twin Peaks kind of way. I noticed there's a number of Utopias in the US. Apparently Ohio doesn't have a monopoly on the place. RE: Let's see your CB1100 out on the road! - the Ferret - 05-07-2014 I do love mountains

Looks lovely country. We also have a Paradise in Michigan's Upper Peninsula but it's probably used as an antonym. Probably not a JRR Tolkin destination either.
