I'm not sure about "motorcycle bags" but there's definitely thousands of backpacks on the market that have hydration bladders or at least the compartment for one.

You can get the bladders themselves for like $10 in the Walmart camping section.

Some of those might look pretty okay on the CB1100.

Any idea if the Samurider/Chic Design CB1100 windscreens are all that different? Specifically would a 2013 would fit a 2014 Deluxe? I wouldn't think Honda would have made an alteration to the headlight mount between the two years or the larger gas tank.
Thanks.

Greetings all, I’ve just received an MRA Speed Screen and mounting kit for my 14 Deluxe. After holding the windshield up to the bike and holding one of the mounting rods up to it,they look too short. If I take it out of the package and attempt mounting and it doesn’t fit, they will not accept returns. Has anyone successfully mounted one and happy with it? I’m sure there’s a Vario Screen mounted on one in this thread, is it different other that the adjustable part?

Thanks.

This post mentions using the long mounting kit: http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=3268&pid=308765#pid308765

May not be your screen though. If you search using MRA, and select to display posts, a lot of stuff comes up. I’m not searching through it all Smile

Thank you, I’ve emailed Twisted Throttle (again today), hopefully they’ll reply tomorrow, there must be a kit with longer rods, searching TT’s website is an exercise in futility.

I've since replaced it with this one by MRA. Go to the 40 sec. mark if you don't want to see all the products listed for the CB1100 from twisted throttle.

Jedd- thanks for this! I know this is an old post, but I'm a new CB1100 owner and looking for a shield so I found this thread. I'm pretty picky when it comes to windscreens. Large 'barn door' types as you put it are not my style. In that respect I'm much more form over function- as long as it blocks some wind (I'm not a HWY rider much, more backroads so generally keeping it 60 MPH or under).

This MRA shield is still available, and it looks like the perfect balance of form and function. I love the smoked tint and the adjustability, and I think the lines of it fit the 1100 very nicely. At roughly $250, plus another 70 for the mounting hardware- I took to the big auction site to see if I could get lucky. Found a gently used one (the only one on the site) for $100 including mounting hardware! It's on it's way and I can't wait to install it.

Loving this forum for all the info I need on these 1100's. Thanks to all who post and keep this forum humming!

Cheers!
