What's an RLET? - KiowaEagle_imp - 10-03-2020 Nay, even though rlet’s were bestowed upon you, still you mock the chosen one PB. I fear you may never now receive the blessing. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: What's an RLET? - peterbaron - 10-04-2020 (10-03-2020, 11:53 PM)KiowaEagle_imp Wrote: Nay, even though rlet’s were bestowed upon you, still you mock the chosen one PB. From now on, after high level comments, I believe that my RLETs became sacred and will handle them with proper-better care.
RE: What's an RLET? - GoldOxide_imp - 10-04-2020 (*sigh*) I am not getting the baby Yoda thing. Clearly I am missing a clue (and a few other nuts and bolts I am sure). So says I who thinks he understands RLETs. lol Is Popgun "baby" Yoda? I would have accepted just "Yoda" as being reasonable. = = = (10-03-2020, 06:37 PM)Cormanus_imp Wrote: It is with a heavy heart that I take to my keyboard to respond to the strident demands of the Great Heretic. Do you seriously think your posts (see [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5505&pid=277216#pid277216]here and [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5505&pid=277246#pid277246]here) worthy of a response? They were not. For years, even before you became a member of this august forum, learned members of the CB brotherhood have pondered weighty tomes, service manuals, unpublished Honda lore, the internet and heaven knows what else in pursuit of The Truth of the RLET. Much knowledge resulted from their work, and newcomers to the CB1100 quickly came to understand the addition of RLETs to their machines created a whole greater than the sum of its parts. But not you, peterbaron. Not you. From the outset you took the pi**; mocked the RLET, even pretending you had installed invisible ones on your bike. Under pressure from a number of the true believers, you installed RLETs on your bike. But you continue to mock; to scoff; and to ridicule. It's time for someone to call BS. You may well have deluded Lord Popgun's ring, but not true scholars of the RLET are not so easily taken in. Clearly you were doing the work of the devil—or the Dark Side; call it what you will. Are the RLETs—so generously given to you by members of this Great Forum—even on your bike still? We have borne this nonsense bravely, but the [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5505&pid=277216#pid277216]pictorial post referred to above is a fuel stop too far. Trying to fool the Ferret into believing he's been able to look upon the face of the infant Lord Popgun is a sufficiently heinous offence to warrant a lengthy term of incarceration. But that was not enough, was it? Oh, no. You prise an image from the Internet; an image of a helpless child so poorly treated by its parents that they allow it to be photographed wearing the most unimaginable knitted travesty of the ears of Yoda. How could they be so cruel? They're in lime green for Pete's sake; everyone knows Yoda's a sort of browny colour. That photograph will never leave the internet and the poor child will be pilloried and tormented for ever. And you have condoned and perpetuated that cruelty. It's time to show respect to your fellow members. If you don't believe in RLETs, fine: join with redbirds* and refuse to have them on your steed. Stop pretending to be one of the lads. Leave the rest of us alone in peace and quiet to indulge our ludicrous beliefs. Furthermore, post no more ridiculous pictures of hapless children. * redbirds' RLET-less CB1100 has run away from home. He pretends he sold it, but we know better. Oh, yes, we do my precioussss ... Succinct in many ways. The sea has been parted? RE: What's an RLET? - Lord Popgun - 10-04-2020 Thought I was more Yada, but Ferret says that was me. OK, maybe when I was 800 years younger
