I practice slamming on my brakes at yellow lights - nhawk7504_imp - 10-11-2016
Often I would make it thru a yellow light but slam on my brakes instead when there is no one behind me, just to test my bike with the brakes on VERY hard.

Awful news to hear CB4ME...always an awakening experience to hear these stories but really glad you've come away to tell of it. Good luck getting everything in order after all this. Bikes can be replaced and wounds will heal, but I'm glad to see you've kept your cognizance after such a wreck.

I am so glad to see that you are doing well despite your terrible accident. I've been away from the forum for several weeks so sorry for the late well wishes. But in the end, you are all that matters, the bike is replaceable.

My wife came by rehab today and I was able to get in and out of the car with the therapist looking on! I could be out of here as early as Monday. Then rest and light therapy for month until I can put weight on the right leg. Should be walking very soon thereafter.
