SP Tadao pipe - mustakoira_imp - 05-13-2013

Hello, I just found this forum the other day. I picked up my CB1100 about 1 month ago and just installed a SP Tadao pipe on the weekend. Here is a look to a video if you are interested.

It looks good. How do you like the sound from the rider's seat?

I "think" I like it. It was so cold on the weekend I only took a quick spin. I can't really tell how loud it is riding it, but like the tone of it. Nice growl over the stock pipe which is what I was after besides the look. Also, I'm still breaking it in, so watching my revs still. Only about 200 miles so far.

Is that the slip-on with the tumor/can near the base where it attaches?

Yes. The so called "power box".

The stock pipe sure is quiet. I'm sure some guys are fine with that, but I like to hear my exhaust a little bit. We'll look forward to a more comprehensive review from you when you get a few more miles behind you.

Yes. The stock pipe almost felt like you are riding an electric bike, it was so quiet.

Im happy with the quiet stock exhaust. I can vividly remember getting burnt out on the constant noise on a GS 1100E withVance and Hines 4 into 1. Swore Id never have a loud pipe again.

I second that.
