Picked up this all original survivor that was tucked back in a warehouse forever. owner put on new tires and battery but gave up on it because the electric start wasn't working [ yellow wire unplugged inside the headlight BTW ]
have it down for cleaning and maintenance , original paint , no rust , will do a light touch up down low . still has baffles , no rust on exhaust and it runs so smooth , quiet and got up to 60 easy with more to go but i was speeding ... Had one of these as a kid and it is still so much fun
.

Lucky dog! Had a black one otherwise just like that, and my sister had a blue one.

And what are snuff-or-nots? Huh

RE: warehouse find 1965 CB160 - the Ferret - 04-16-2017

Popgun they were little washer like objects that fit in the end of pipes after muffler was hacksawed off and could be turned so they were open or closed altering the amount of noise... Er tone. I had them in my 305 Scrambler, but I always had them turned for more noise..er..tone back then.
